We're taking a cruise. One of the ports-of-call is Chania (Hania), Crete. We will be there for 11 hours. What are the top things to do or see in Chania?

Traveling back and forth into Chania from the ship will preclude much other than exploring the downtown area. I wouldn't even think about renting a car and trying to leave the city. You can easily kill a day walking the charming back alleys and shops of the city, having a glass of wine or a beer on the waterfront, and taking in the ambience of the port. You'll wish you had more time. Take it easy and enjoy your visit.
