Their's 3 castles which I've read are worthwhile to visit. Near Prague Konopiste, Karlstejn and in Cesky Krumlov area the Krumlov castle.
Are all three worth the trip and if so, please list your recommendations in order of priority.
Thank you

Yes Karlstejn is definitely worth the visit. It is a 42 minute train ride from the Prague hl.n station. You can walk from the train station into town - approximately 1/2 mile. The fare is a little more than 2 USD.
We have an American friend married to to Czech man and they have a home in Karlstejn with an excellent view of the castle. We stayed with them for 4 days and loved the small town.
Don't miss Cesky Krumlov. It is also worth a visit. We stayed there 3 days and enjoyed every minute.
There are direct (no changes) trains from Prague hl.n station to Ceske Budejovice - the duration is 2 hrs 50n mins. Then you take a 30 min bus ride from CB to CK.
Enjoy your trip!
Cesky Krumlov is great and so is Karlovy Vary. We just got back and it is gorgeous!
We found the smaller, lesser known castles of Zvihov and Orlik to be far nicer to wander around. Far quieter and fewer tourists. They are not too far from Prague, either.
Of the three you mentioned I would rank them thus:
I would highly recommend a visit to Cesky Krumlov - it is delightufl.
