Hi, What's the best way to get my American $ into Koruna's. Do I just take my cash with me (Obviously it would be in a safe place with me on my body) and then when I get there exchange it. Thanks

The BEST way is to use a debit card in the ATMs as you go so you don't have to worry about carrying around all that cash. With the right bank's debit card you won't pay high transaction fees. If you don't already have one check Capital One as well as your local credit unions. I opened an account with Charles Schwab (no transaction fees!) just for this purpose and they even reimbursed me for having to use another bank's debit card, one with a transaction fee, when I forgot to activate the Schwab card before I left home for Europe.
