Has anyone had experience with economycarrental.com? We plan on renting a car in Zagreb, and returning it in Split. Their prices are much lower, and include insurance. Any suggestions?

I rented from Active Rent a Car in Zagreb. They offered to pick me up at the train station and take me to their office. From there it was very easy to get on the expressway and go to Plitvice Lakes. They have offices thru out Croatia with no drop off fee, I learned about them from someone else on the "helpline". Also a very good price.

Hi, did you have a "CDW excess" amount on your rental, did you buy the super CDW coverage and at what cost. Any problems, such as "there is a scratch and we will charge you the CDW excess" ? heard about horror stories regarding "CDW excess" charges thanks
