We know there is no train travel between Greece and other countries - so we are looking for a bus or train schedule from Thessaloniki to Alexandroupolis, and then a bus schedule from Alexandroupolis to Istanbul. We know about the bus from Thessaloniki to Istanbul but it gets into Istanbul at 10 PM and we are not anxious to try to get around that city at that hour. Otherwise you have to travel all night on the bus and we would prefer to not do that also.
