Soon traveling to Bulgaria for ten days. We already decided to visit the Rila Monastery, Plovdiv, and Sofia (our entry and departure point). Koprivshtitsa was also recommended by a Bulgarian friend. We like historical sites and nature. Any tips on where else to go would be appreciated!

The open markets in Sofia sell everything! From Soviet-era relics to local craftworks, you should have your choice, for very little price. Bulgaria is also one of Europe's undiscovered culinary gems.
