My daughter (she is 19) are flying to Sofia. We will only be there 3/4 days. My paternal grandparents were from there. Should we stay in Sofia the entire time? We are thinking of going to Varna for a couple of the days. What should be our "must see's"? Hotels? Any recommendations are appreciated.

The best church to see in Sofia would be Alexander Nevsky church. Less than two hours from Sofia is Rilsky monastir (monastery). Varna is too far away when you got just 3-4 days. Besides Black Sea at Easter is still cold. Plovdiv is closer. There is a lot to see in Bulgaria but not in 3-4 days.
