Help! The Green Garland Pension where we wanted to stay is booked up for 13-15 February. Many of the other budget ($) properties listed in Rick Steves' Prague guide are closed for repairs and renovations, or already booked. Budget: $-$$ (max 70 euros per night for two)
Specifics: 2 adults We really would prefer a central area to maximize our time in the city.

Check on Hotel Hastal (http://www.hotelhastalprague.com). It's in the Prague book. 5 minute walk from Old Town Square, good breakfast buffet. We were happy there in summer 2009.
I just checked, they have rooms available for your date, at a rate of not much above 40 Euro/night, and a cash 5% discount available.

I stayed at Central Hotel Prague (http://www.central-prague.com/). Definitely budget style, but clean, convenient, fine breakfast. Double check TripAdvisor for recent reviews before you book. It looks like they have a room left in your time frame for 65 euro/night.
