BUDAPEST! Where to stay? Hotel Papillion or Supercharged Room?

Hello!
I will be traveling to Budapest in June- I am currently trying to decide between staying with the young man who rents out the Supercharged Room, or staying in Hotel Papillion- If you have any suggestions, experiences, etc. I would love to hear! Thank you!!

I don't know the hotel, but you may get a review from someone else. We stayed at the superchargedroom and I think it's a good choice if you are looking for something affordable and central. If you need posh then this is not the place for you. It was clean and we had a big room with a double bed, a desk and a closet, it was simple, but for 25 US each it was perfect. There was also Internet we could use. Unlimited hot water, access to wash clothes, fridge for your food and Marton even did little extras that we could never have gotten from a big hotel. Take face clothes if you like to have them. I had wished I had taken some, as we got only towels. I believe he has a studio with private bathroom too, but we did not need that. There is no television that is accessible to you so if you love TV it may not work for you. Marton is amazing, he's paying his studies from the money he makes and does a great job, a real entrepreneur, even though he's still a college student...

My wife and I stayed in an apartment being rented out by Marton. It was not the more modern Supercharged Room located in Pest, but an older place just on the Buda side of the Margit Bridge. The apartment was old, but the room we had was big with high ceilings. It had all the necessary facilities - bath/shower, gas stove, etc and the price was very reasonable. What pleased us more than anything, though, was what Marton himself brought to the equation. He was supremely helpful and friendly. His recommendations for things to do and places to eat were spot on and he was very helpful when we had questions as well. I would definitely recommend renting from him.
