I need to travel for one day to Lovaszi, about 2.5-3 hr away. How much (US $ equivalent) do you think I should pay for 12-14 hours of driver+car+gas? PLEASE ! I need and answer ASAP since I depart on April 18/12.

I used First Class Limo Service for a trip into Slovakia earlier this year. They did such a good job that we are hiring them to go back to Slovakia in June. Betsy....... A google search will find you several private guides/drivers who can help. We used one but I can't recall the company. They can provide the car. They will be/should be licensed as a guide. RS seems to use this one; www.privateguidebudapest.com/

A guide is a different service and isn't necessary for basic transportation but if you want to do some sight seeing along the way it might be a great idea. I am in favor of using every second wisely when having already spent thousands to get that far. But the cost for a trained and licensed guide is going to be substantially more than just a car and driver. I have used and known a gentleman named Andrew ILLES for almost ten years now.
