We are booked into the Corinthia Hotel in Budapest as a part of a prepaid tour, and this hotel is not in your Jan2012 guide. Why not? Is it OK? What the deal, Rick?

Think about it. According to booking.com, there are 427 hotels in Budapest. If Rick rated every one, he'd have to live in Budapest for a year or two, and his guidebook would be the size of the Los Angeles phonebook.

Alice, I hasked the same thing - our trip is April 2012 and I know there are a lot of hotels but it is listed in 2 other Budapest books. Alice, did you go yet? We are on Viking River Cruise 14 April.

It is actually one of Budapest's most outstanding hotels. Location is good, but not perfect but Budapest has an exceptionally good and fun transit system. This is a true 5 star accommodation. Go, have fun! It is a glorious city! Happy Trails
