Is there a local boat or ship that runs between Prague and Vienna that I can take without all the expense (and luxury) of the cruise lines?

There is a hydrofoil that runs between Budapest and Vienna but the train is cheaper, more quiet and smoother. Coming into Budapest by boat is pretty special but one way to do that is to take the HEV commuter train from Batthyány tér in Buda up to the great little artist town of Szentendre and then take the river taxi back to Budapest. Done it twice over the years and it wasn't "old" on the second trip.
