Budapest Apartments

I am looking for a spacious and well-appointed 1-bedroom apartment in Budapest for October. A central city location is most important. We also require WiFi. My husband has health issues and we prefer a building with an elevator or an apartment that is on the ground or first floor. Would appreciate suggestions or the names of reliable agencies. Thanks.

Barbara - Just in the interest of full disclosure to you. Leslie your suggestion could be totally innocent and not connected at all to this comment. I apologize in advance if that is the case.

If you go back about a month ago (4/25/09) at the time of posting this posting, there is another post that has about 20 responses to it dealing with budapest.

As part of this many people with a single post on this forum endorse Marton. A similar thing was done in the Budapest forum on tripadvisor. Kinda fishy huh?

What the motive is, I don't know. However when I saw it I immediately discounted the place because something is wrong. Marton may be great and may not understand how that sort of advertising may appear to others (at least myself). But at least you can make a choice for yourself with that knowledge in mind

We were in Budapest last November and stayed in Apartment Belle on this website http://budapestvacationrentals.com/Five_Very_Special_Apartments_in_the_Heart_of_Budapest/Apt_Belle.html . It was a fanastic apartment in the heart of the city. I dont remeber if they had wi-fi, but they did have internet available on the tv (altough the resolution was not too great). There is an elevator, so no worries there, but the bed is actually in a loft in the apartment. If that won't work, check out the other locations on their website. I'm sure they're all great. Have fun!!

Well.... We haven't been there yet, but so far Marton has been very helpful and it's a great location for a good price. I read all those good reviews also and that's why we book with him. But again, and i thought i had made it clear in the first place, i haven't been there yet.

We stayed at the Astoria Residence by Budapesting and it has been a great experience! Thank you for the recommendation!
