my boyfriend and I are going to be traveling for 2 weeks through the amalfi coast. We want to take 3 or 4 days to party a bit and are trying to decide where to go. We have heard Bodrum is the new place to go, but are also considering greece or croatia. Any thoughts?

on the Amalfi? Bodrum is not really an island
and I think at that time of year there would
be a lot of partying going on. However, Greece
would be closer and Croatia even closer.

we are starting in Rome, My bf is from there and then will be in capri for a few days. we are trying to decide where to go after that. We are looking for a party island so if Bodrum is that maybe we should consider??
How are the beaches in bodrum compared to greece?

Bodrum is not an island, but it is on a peninsula. The beaches on the peninsula range from okay to pretty nice, but people generally go to Bodrum for the nightlife. Discos, bars, etc. mainly cater to foreigners (think stag and hen parties) and somewhat to young Turks. If you go there to party, you'll be in good company with a lot of like-minded travelers.
