Does anyone know a good place to stay in Bodrum? I'll be there with my daughter and would like to stay in the city, not one of those big places out of the city. Does Bodrum have a different area code? If I had the area code for Bodrum I could call a couple places I have the number for.

I stayed in a great little pension close to the Mausoleum, the Alias Pansiyon, up an alley off the main street at the far left end of the marina from the Crusader Castle (see map below). There are little bungalows in a lovely garden courtyard setting surrounding a small swimming pool. I would definitely stay there again. Unfortunately I can't seem to find a website for it but the contact phone number is 316 31 46.

Be sure to visit the seaside village of Gumusluk when you're in Bodrum, it's only about 1/2 hour away by minibus. I liked it so much I left Bodrum and spent a few days there as well.
