Can't help you with your particular routing - the closest for me was traveling Ljubljana - Salzburg about 5-6 years ago. One thing to note that sometimes in Eastern Europe it is quicker to take a bus than the train because of the time it takes when crossing the borders. Check out eurolines to see if it is quicker

My only advice is to be aware that trains often drop off cars during travel. Be sure you talk to the conductor and other passengers about which car you must be in to get to your destination.

From my research train from Bled changes twice to get to Vienna, once in northern Slavania and once in southern Austrian. However from Ljubijana there is a direct train and more frequent choices.
