Black Light Theater in Prague ....Looks pretty cheesy....any feedback?

After watching RS highlight the black light theater in Prague on his PBS show, I am not sure as to whether it is worth any time. Looks pretty cheesy, if you ask me....but if it is a cultural staple and is amusing, I would be willing to check it out. Any feedback on this oddity? Which one is the best? Rick highlights 3 black light shows but doesn't elude to which one is the best. Ta Fantastika, Image Theatre, Laterna Magica?

We went - it was just Ok - nothing more. Probably one of the lowlights of Prague.

I went to Image Theatre last July. I really enjoyed it. It is something really unique, something I had never seen before. I would describe it as a cross between pantomime, ballet and science lesson. But let's be realistic, it isn't Swan Lake and it isn't a Pink Floyd laser show, but I enjoyed my evening. The music is uninspiring, but it is more of a visual feast, not an aural one.

I suppose in this time of computer generated graphics that can create an entire new universe, the Black Light Theatre might seem a little cheesy. When you see someone lit up with fluorescent lights against a black curtain suddenly rise up against gravity, you know how it's done; there is no magic. But there are times when your eyes do play tricks on your brain.

I enjoyed it, and I would recommend it.
