Hi, I will be traveling by train from Bamberg to Prague this October 2nd- on the DB website the fastest route/best price for 2 people is 58 Euro total, and it looks like we take RE and Bus. Jennifer, this looks good! Watch out for the connection in Nuernberg - some allow only 10 mins (for a 10 min walk!); I think you've chosen the train that arrives at the (main) train/bus station in Prague at 18:18? THAT train shows a 21min connection - that's better. (On DB, it says the train that arrives at 18:18 leaves at 13:42...Train #1209...but that doesn't match your info...I just want to be sure we're talking apples to apples). Also, when you 'expand' a particular train schedule (the arrows on the left), look at the very bottom where it says "At the Train Station" next to a blue square with an 'i' in it - click on that to get a diagram of the pertinent GERMAN stations. Very useful info. Lastly, buy those tickets ASAP to get that price.
