We have signed up for the above tour: Any suggestions for best transport to Ljublijana(arrival) and Dubrovnik(departure site?

You can fly to London and then take a budget airline to Ljubljana. I believe EasyJet flys the London-Ljubljana route. The site whichbudget.com may be helpful to you. For your arrival in Dubrovnik, you can take a train from Ljubljana to Zagreb, approximately a two hour ride, and then fly Croatia Airlines direct from Zagreb to Dubrovnik. Croatia Airlines has some good deals if you purchase your ticket well in advance. The other alternative for transport to Dubrovnik is to just travel along the coast visiting the places not covered in the tour. Happy Travels!

When we did that tour 2 years ago, we spent a few days in Budapest and then flew from Budapest to Ljubyana on Malev the Hungarian airline. From Dubrovnik, we were lucky enough to get a flight from there direct to Rome, but I dont think that flight now operates. Many on the tour took a very early flight from Dubrovnik to Zagreb and then on from there to home. You will thoroughly enjoy this tour, it was fabulous.
