Has anyone stayed in a reasonably priced, clean hotel in Belgrade? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Ellen.....I've stayed at the Hotel Royal 3 times over three years, several years ago. It is an old building and one sees a little shabbiness here and there, but the rooms, while small, are neat and clean. Google on "Hotel Royal Belgrade" and you'll find it. I returned to it because, after the first tiem, I was familiar with it, it's pretty close to most thing I was interested in, and it was cheap. The desk staff all speak English. There's an exchange shop right there or you can exchange your cash at the bank down the street. Next time I go to Serbia I'll stay there again.
