Balloon weather/clothing

How cold is it in Turkey for the balloon ride? Since it is early in the morning do I need gloves, layers, etc???

I know this is silly, but it might be helpful to know when you plan to be in Turkey.

Sorry! We are going on the 18th of May. I got info from someone on the tour 6 weeks ago who hadn't gone on the balloon ride but said their hike was cancelled due to weather. I don't want to dress too light!

Luck and timing is everything...I went ballooning on the April 27 - May 9 Turkey tour. We were fortunate enough to have fantastic weather and my fleece jacket kept me toasty. However, the next day was raining and cold and a balloon ride, if it were possible, would have been very cold. So it's luck of the draw. Since you are going several weeks later you're probably okay packing light, especially if you're only taking a carry-on. No one in our group needed the gloves they took.
