The fam and I have a wicked long layover in Istanbul during our trip in July. My question is as follows, is there a place we can store our bags in the airport after getting through customs and purchasing visas? Cheers.

Yes - there is a luggage storage. However, I have never used it, so I can't help with logistics. A quick Google search yielded this site: http://www.turkeytravelplanner.com/go/Istanbul/Transport/emanet.html It has some details. I have no idea how current or accurate they are. Good luck.

Visas: Turkey - yes, buy on arrival, $20. Greece - no, unless you plan to stay more than 90 days in the Schengen zone.

Zach, yes. Just follow the signs for "Left Luggage." checked in a large luggage piece and my carry on for 30 or 35 TL. They also speak English, so it's really easy. Leave your bags, sign a form, pay when you pick them up.
