Does anyone happen to know how many lira can be withdrawn from the ATM's at the Istanbul airport? That is, do they have a restriction that might be lower than what the U.S. bank might allow?

When we were there in the spring/summer of 2008, I withdrew between $300-400 and didn't have any issues. Not sure if there is a limit between what I withdrew and my US limit of $500.

limit per ATM is 1000 TL , you can use different ATM s:)
