We are doing a cruise out of Venice in July. As we do not have the "open jaw" option with our frequent flyer program we are flying r/t SFO to ATH(ens) and catching a one-way to Venice for our departure (we ultimately debark in Athens and want a flight home from Athens). One way flights w/ Travelocity and Alitalia are about $253 pp. Aegean Air offers one for 83.59E (about $111.00 USD). Has anyone used this airline and does anyone know why such a HUGE discrepancy in price? The flight with Aegean is also non-stop and 2.25.hrs as opposed to a 5 hr, two stop (Rome) with Travelocity and Alitalia. Orbitz offers it for $173. Such a good deal makes me wonder. Please help!!
