Does anyone have suggestions as to the most economical and easiest way to get from Athens to Malaga Spain. We are trying to do it in one day.

When are you travelling? Spanish discount airline Vueling flies this route via Barcelona, for about $135, and you can book one ticket straight thru. In October, they make the trip every day but Saturday....from November through March, it's Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. No schedules out yet for April and beyond.

Thanks, I did look at their site but we are not flying until April so I thought I would see if others had better suggestions. I will keep that in mind.

You have plenty of time. If you sign up for the Aegean Airlines email newsletter you'll be notified well in advance about their international saver fares that will included flights to Barcelona and Madrid, as low as €69-79 one-way, all taxes included. Expect these fares to be announced sometime around the first of next year, February at the latest. Have patience, they will be offered. http://en.aegeanair.com/Default.aspx
