We're planning 3 nights in Athens and have heard Athens is noisy and tough on light sleepers. Can anyone recommend places to stay for about 80 - 100 Euros per night that offer memorable and quiet accomodations -- Thanks!

Check the Attalos, Cecil, Acropolis Myrto, Omiros, Hermes, Metropolis, Pan, Arethusa and Amazon Hotels.

We've ended several Greek vacations at the Attalos. Perfect location-- just down the street from the metro, short walk to the Plaka and Acropolis, and to the huge meat/fish/produce markets.
We love the small roof-top bar with the Acropolis view. I've never noticed any night-time noise. It's not fancy at all but clean and safe (24 hour staff at front desk).
