Is it possible to get a tour to Aphrodisias from the port in Kusadasi - we are only in Kusadasi one day - on a cruise so have between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm only

It looks like there are tours from Kusadasi to Aphrodisias, although it is about 2 1/2 hours each way. If you don't mind the distance, Aphrodisias is incredible to see. We visited it on the Rick Steves Turkey tour and it was really a WOW moment. The day we visited we were the only ones there and the Gateway, Temple, Theater and Stadium are very impressive. There is also an excellent museum. With all that said, have you been to Ephesus and the Terrance Houses - they are very close to Kusadasi. Another option is to visit Miletus and The Temple of Apollo at Didyma - they are about an hour away from Kusadasi. Miletus is very interesting, but the Temple of Apollo is incredible for it's sheer size. There are tours going to both those places from Kusadasi. Enjoy - all the ruins are special in their own way.
