Hello: I am debating between bring my Android tablet or my netbook. We've used the free computers in hotel lobbies and cafe's in the past, but our own computer is much easier. The tablet has the advantages of instant-on and easy to access data through the apps. The question is; do the apps have any value in Croatia? For example, Yelp is great, but no data for Croatia. We'd like an app for restaurant recommendations, weather, GPS, etc. Does anyone have any experience using Android apps in Croatia? If yes, what apps did you find of most use?

Hi Jeff. Croatia is quite a internet/technical savvy country but like you mentioned many apps may not have specific data (or up to date data) for Croatia. Haven't used the Andriod apps myself but here's one I know of...
- Taste of Croatia: Self-funded group of enthusiatic foodies, recently released an app which has food/restaurant info for some Croatian cities/towns. If I come across any more, will post them here. Enjoy your trip.
