We will be in Prague for three full days (3 nights and then on the fourth night, leaving at 8pm on the night train). I definitely want to tour the city and go to Terezin Concentration Camp, but I'm very curious about Kutna Hora. Are those 3 places too ambitious for three days? Should I skip Kutna Hora? Thanks!
I would skip Kutna Hora-- there is so much to see in Prague itself, and the day trip to Terezin will take a half-day. Just count on coming back another time.
3 days is barely enough time to see all of the city itself. You may find your current itinery a bit rushed.
Like the previous post said, plan on going back.
We just came back from our whirlwind tour of eastern europe and did Prague in 3 days. We also did Terezin but not Kutna Hora. I think that we caught all the sights that we wanted to and saw the highlights so you can do it.
Great Carol. Thanks for the info.
We just came back from Prague. We saw virtually all we wanted to in about 2 days, then took a day trip to Kutna Hora, but that wasn't too spectacular. I would skip it and see more out of the way sights in Prague. Train was hot, had to get bus to city center, it was too spread out to just ramble around.
Have fun!

Okay, thanks Laurie! I'm actually very excited about seeing Theresienstadt. I'm about to start a book written by one of the survivors of the camp. It will really be interesting to go there after reading this book...
