What is the best way to get to Hotel in Dubrovnik from airport.
Is there a shuttle?

Hi, A year or so ago we took a bus from the city to the airport which is quite a ways out of the city. I would write Dubrovnic on one side of a 3x5 card and the Hotel name and address on the other side. Then hop the bus into the city and ask for the drop off closest to the your destination.
3x5 cards have been a God send when dealing with non-foreign language speakers, which we are, and they are some times. Also go to Google maps or something similar and find your hotel/accommodations and the main roads. There is only ONE road out of the city towards the airport. The taxi drivers are clever and will arrive just before the bus and kind of imply that the bus may not show up, so hop in...and it is a long way from the airport to Dubrovnic. wayne iNWI

Thanks for great tip. I like the idea of the index cards. I was also looking for info on distance from airport to center and you answered that. Thanks
