Has anyone rented a car on Aegina Island? We will be taking a ferry over from Athens in May to arrive at Aegina port. We would like to rent a car (we have International Driver's License) from Aegina port to drive around the island to sight see, then make our way over to our hotel (Hotel Irides). We are only staying over for one night. The next day we would then drive back to Aegina port to drop off the car then take the ferry back to Athens. I have looked online but it has been difficult finding a car rental place on the island. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did you try Google? I just did. "aegina car hire" brought up a list. Not all entries relevant. But Aegina Yellow pages showed 4 listngs... 2 in the port town (Aegina). here is the link: http://www.aegina.com.gr/eo/in/?category=115&lang=en and here is the site for one of them:
http://www.travel-to-aegina.com/rentacar/ When I went there on a day trip one May, I saw several car agencies. If you are going in May, should not be any problem. If you want to rent on a weekend, I would telephone ahead from athens. Otherwise just walk up.
