I plan to be in Athens in September and wanted to see if anyone knew whether (and which) parts of the Acropolis would be under construction/restoration. Thanks.

Mostly it's the area around the Parthenon that's still under construction. There is scaffolding and heavy equipment scattered around the site. It's been there for many years and will be there for many more. Rebuilding the Parthenon is a slow and painstaking business, like the world's most intricate jigsaw puzzle with lots of pieces missing.
