Hi, Looking for suggestions on hotels in Athens and Nafplio. We have 2 young kids - so anything that is safe, clean and centrally located would be ideal. Thanks for your help.

Hi - My suggestion for Athens would be Http://www.plakahotel.gr Have stayed there - It's a very nice facility right in the center of La Plaka - easy walk to the shops. Monisteraki, as well as The Acropolis.
In Nafplio I would suggest The Hotel Grande Bretagne - http://www.hotelsofgreece.com/peloponessos/nafplio/grande-bretagne/index.html Right in the square in The Port with amazing views - There are quite a few choices - I've stayed at this one and liked it - A Lot!

In Athens we like the Hotel Divani Acropolis -- just below the Acropolis. I agree with the recommendation for Nafplio.
