My wife and I (both seniors) will be ending a Rick Steves' tour in Dubrovnik in early October. We are planning to stay on for 4 extra nights in Dubrovnik. We would like a 1-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and a nice view if possible. Near the Old Town would be a plus. We don't want to climb a lot of steps but some would be OK. An apartment with a lot of steps but a readily accessible bus to get down to the town or beach would also work. Does anyone have some apartments to recommend that they have stayed in recently? Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

In Rick's book, he recommends a site called Dubrovnik apartment source. We stayed at a place using that site. Our place was great, just outside of oldtown but had 131 steps. As we discoverd, most places in Dubronvik within walking distance of old town will involve plenty of steps and steep hills. I would read carefully the place description and ask about the number of steps...be careful tho, keep in mind the hills. Sorry this is too specific. And with all that being said, We LOVED this city.
