Greek Honeymoon

Mike, You might find it helpful to have a look at Matt Barrett's excellent Greece Travel website. That has an excellent description of Athens and the islands, which should help you to work out an Itinerary. One point to consider is that the end of March and beginning of April is a bit "early" in the season, so possibly not all businesses will be open in the islands. With only a very short two weeks, I'd suggest a few days in Athens at the beginning and then perhaps two of the islands. It's a good idea to pick islands in the same "group" (ie: Cyclades), as that will make travel between them easier. A few islands to consider are Naxos, Mykonos and Santorini. You could also add a few days at the beginning and spend a couple of days on Hydra (which is easily reachable from Athens) before going to the other islands. Santorini would be a good choice at the end, as there's an airport so that makes it easy to get back to Athens for your flight home. On my visit to the islands, I used one of the Greek Travel Agencies recommended on Matt's website to make all the arrangements, and was very pleased with the service they provided.
