Karlovy Vary

My wife is descended from German-speaking Bohemians from the region of what is now Karlovy Vary (pre-WW2, Carlsbad). We have visited there before and are returning this summer. Can anyone recommend an english-speaking guide for Karlovy Vary and surrounding area?
