What is the best way to get to Pest from the Budapest airport?

One of the great things to be appreciated about Budapest is the ease and low cost of transportation; beginning at the airport. Taxi has the airport contract, they are honest, clean, and efficient. The cost is fixed by Zone and most of Pest will cost you about $30.00. There is also a cheaper shuttle bus option and a public transit option.
