8 hours in Warsaw

Hi everyone -
we have some time to kill in Warsaw on our way to Athens.
Anyone visited the "old-town" area? Would this be a good
idea to kill nearly 8 hours - we're thinking dinner too.
Thanks for any suggestions.

The Old Town area is quite charming. You can easily get lost here for several hours browsing the various shops. If you are a fan of Chopin, the museum devoted to his life might provide some interest (skip it if Chopin means nothing to you). Warsaw contains few top-tier tourist attractions, but strolling through the city center is surprisingly pleasent.

Definitely worth your while with that much time to go into the old town. Lots to see including monuments to the Jewish upgrising, etc. Having dinner in the town square with all the outdoor cafes will be memorable.
