In November my wife and I will be travelling from Budapest to Zagreb then renting a car to visit Plitvice Lakes. Is there a car rental agency anyone can recommend in Zagreb at the rail station or nearby? My other option is to go to the airport to rent. We only need the car for a couple of days. Thanks.

We rented a car in Vienna from Avis. We were completely satisfied with Avis. They were very helpful. We did not get the insurance from them - we got it from the service recommended in Rick's book. However, if you will be renting for just a few days, it will be easier to just go with Avis' insurance. You WILL LOVE PLITVICE LAKES - it was simply the highlight of our trip.
