Hi! We are joining a tour in Istanbul and the tour company is advising us to buy our visas before leaving Canada. We aren't keen on doing it this way and would rather buy it at the airport. Does anyone know of any reason why we would have a problem buying our visas (Canadians!) in the Istanbul airport? We know the price and know that we need cash to do this. Thanks
Karen
You won't have any problem at all buying your visa
at the airport. I'm a B.C. Canadian who came through
Ataturk in September and bought my visa there.
There's a manned kiosk just before you leave the
restricted area - just give the official your money
and your passport will be stamped with the visa.
See the below string for more information.
