We are planning a trip to Greece and Italy in May/June. I was looking at the aferry.com website, and it tells me that already, there are no seats left except for the reclining seats for passage. What do you recommend? For an overnight trip, I would prefer a room (but don't want to pay for the deluxe option). I also wonder about traveling to Ancona--will we be able to get to Assisi quicker from there? How far out should we book our ferry--and is there a place to do that if we buy a Railpass for Greece and Italy? Any suggestions are welcome!
