I am not sure which town to stay in in Santorini. I just want to stay in one that is lively and will have places to eat and is easy to get to from the port where the ferries are. Thanks!

I think Fira and Firostefani would be the best fit for you.

I agree with the previous post Fira has the nightlife and it's closest to the port (right up the hill on bus, taxi or donkey)

There are no donkeys at the ferry port, but even if there were I'd still say PLEAS DON'T RIDE THE POOR, ABUSED DONKEYS!
