Will I need a surge protector in Greece for my laptop?

There was a discussion about a related topic on another thread. I expect that you would need it for the same reason that you need one in the US. You gamble and not use it. I think if I take my computer I will look into taking a small one with me because there are often very few plugs in European hotel rooms.
