Will be in Budapest one night - Oct 27 - flying in to BUD on the 27th am and flying out early morning on the 28th. Please suggest reasonable places to stay for two adults (males) with convenient access to metro. Thanks.

You will be there for one night? "Reasonable" is not what I would look for. I would look for "convenient". Every minute you save is one more minute doing interesting things, so stay right downtown in a big hotel, take taxis, and don't waste time on "reasonable".

Jayant, Sorry, not great for a one night stay. You will want to get as close to the river as possible. See how the Intercontinental and the Marriott look to you. Not "special" hotels but they will put you where you can see a lot in a short time and really enjoy what is special about Budapest.
