I am traveling to Auschwitz from Krakow...would like to get there when they open @ 8amon a Wed morning...which he the fastest way to get there...bus/train...i have gotten so many suggestions its hard to tell. Thanks!

It appears that the buses don't start running out of Krakow until 8:25 am. So if you want to get their earlier you will have to get their by train. There is a direct train out of Krakow at 5:37am arriving at O?wi?cim train station at 7:42am. The train station is two miles from the entrance of the camp. There are taxis available at the train station.
