ferries Mykonos, Santorini

It is advised to purchase outgoing ferry passage upon just arriving at a port. Also advised is to buy from the particular ferry company rather than pay a service charge from an independent agent. It might be that the company sales are at the port. This becomes a concern when arriving in Mykonos and Santorini where the port is not convenient to the town and I might have to track the offices down, luggage in hand or possibly miss the transport to town while negotiating ticketing. My questions is: Are the company sales offices on these islands at the port or in town? For Mykonos the company is Superjet aka Sea jets central agent.
For Santorini the company is Blue Star aka Helenic seaways central agent.

I believe all ferry tickets sold on Santorini are from independent licensed agencies rather than from company offices. The service fees are minimal. You don't have to buy at the port. For Blue Star and Hellenic Seaways buy from Pelican Travel in Fira or from any agency showing ferry company logos in their window. You also have the option of buying your tickets at the Athens Airport from the travel desk of Amphitrion Holidays in the Arrivals Hall between doors 2&3. Cash only, no CCs. They're open 24/7.

I am heading to Greece as well and through my research a lot of people have disgruntled feelings to the ferry companies and I have ended up booking a flight from athens to santorini as it is barely more than the cost of a ferry.
