I'm traveling in May to Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia. I'll have some free time to look around the larger cities. I was looking for a 1/2 day bus tour (something like hop-on-hop-off) to get a general over view of Sofia Bulgaria, Belgrade Serbia, and Bucharest Romania. The rest of the trip I'll be on a bus tour with guide. I've looked online for hop-on - hop-off and could not find anything with at as part of the name. Does anyone have any experience in locating 1/2 day English overview tours of the larger cities?

We took a hop on hop off bus in Bucharest. The stop we got on was at the ethnology museum. It route goes by some very beautiful architecture. The ticket cost was nil.

In Bulgaria contact Pavlina http://www.easytouristguides.com/ In Bucharest contact Daniel http://covinnus.com/ They are both pretty first class and you will get more out of it than a HOHO bus. Rates in Romania and Bulgaria are very reasonable. Enjoy you trip. I'm jealous as Bulgaria and Romania are two of my favorite places.
