We planned to spend two nights in Zermatt. Is this a good stop or would Bernese Oberland be something we missed. I have been to Gimmerwald but my travel partner hasn't. I wouldn't want her to miss something So is Zermatt a good choice or do you have another suggestion?

If you've been to Berner Oberland, then probably remember the scope of the mountain ranges there, with destinations on both sides of the valley, and a 360-degree view from the top of Mt. Schilthorn. Zermatt has less scope and variety, but is still a lovely destination for two nights. http://www.ricksteves.com/europe/switzerland
