I’m traveling with my teenagers to Zurich for three nights next week. Looking for suggestions on restaurants. Casual, but good. I only have one picky kid, but all of them are willing to try local dishes.

Try the cafeteria in the Manor department store. Very good value when you figure how expensive restaurants can be in Switzerland.
Zeughauskeller for Swiss-German food like pork, veal, sausages, potato salad, and beer in a beer hall setting.
Hiltl for vegetarian.

I really liked Sprungli when I was there last year. I forget what we had for lunch, but can't forget the delicious dessert waffles. And of course, you can stock up on chocolate when you are there. 😊

My wife and I had an excellent experience recently at the restaurant La Dezolay. It is located right behind the Grossmunster. It is casual and the food was great.
