Try the cafeteria in the Manor department store. Very good value when you figure how expensive restaurants can be in Switzerland.
Zeughauskeller for Swiss-German food like pork, veal, sausages, potato salad, and beer in a beer hall setting.
Hiltl for vegetarian.

I really liked Sprungli when I was there last year. I forget what we had for lunch, but can't forget the delicious dessert waffles. And of course, you can stock up on chocolate when you are there. 😊

My wife and I had an excellent experience recently at the restaurant La Dezolay. It is located right behind the Grossmunster. It is casual and the food was great.
