Zurich hotel help

Can anybody recommend a hotel in Zurich for one night after arrival at ZRH? Close to the train station would be best as we will be presssing on by train the next day.

Where are you pressing on to? Any reason why you can't go direct from the airport to that place?

You say "Close to the train station", which station? I.e. are you looking for a hotel at Zürich airport, or in central Zürich?

Chris, we will arrive on October 13th and Would like a place near Central Station. I prefer to spend the night near my point of arrival rather than press on burned out and jet lagged.

Joe, if you go to the following website: https://www.zuerich.com/en/hotels-bbs-apartments-and-hostels-your-accommodation-in-zurich
This will list all the hotels in Zürich, and allow you to book. On the left side, where it says "Nearby me", select "Zurich main station". The map on the right of the page shows dots for all the hotels, so you can see which ones are near Zürich HB (the name of Zürich's main station).

The reason I asked the questions, is Zürich is one of the world's most expensive cities, expect to pay CHF 200 per night, if not more. And, as to your reluctance to "press on", it will take 10-15 minutes by train from Zürich airport station ("Zürich Flughafen") to Zürich HB. But Zürich Flughafen is nearly as much of a rail hub as Zürich HB. For example, if you were going to Luzern, you could do that direct from Zürich Flughafen in 70 minutes. You would then be at your destination, the only difference is 70 minutes sitting on a comfy seat, instead of 10 minutes.
Even for somewhere further, like Mürren, the last connection out of Zürich Flughafen is 20:40, arrive Mürren 23:45.

If you are landing so late you really can't "press on", then the Radison Blu at the airport is across the road from the terminal (covered walkway), and may be cheaper, and you can move on from the airport the following morning.

I agree with Chris and wouldn't personally waste a night in Zurich when the rest of Switzerland is so close and readily accessible by train directly from the airport.

If you don't feel like dealing with luggage then have it shipped ahead of you as you arrive into Zurich Airport. The baggage handlers will grab your bags and throw them directly onto the train to your Swiss destination.
